Do you rely on bots to glean data from the SEC EDGAR websites? Please note the latest announcement affecting EDGAR access. The Securities and Exchange Commission will apply new rate control limits to EDGAR websites.
If a user or application submits more than 10 requests per second to EDGAR websites, the SEC may limit further requests from the relevant IP address(es) for a brief period.
These limits will be deployed today, July 27, 2021, starting with the EDGAR Portal and the EDGAR Company Database.
